Chinese food is sooooooo good that there is hardly any Chinese buffet over in the Far East; a la carte should be the way to go when dining on Chinese food!. They should be freshly cooked and enjoyed immediately instead of leaving it out for hours - definitely not the way to have Chinese food!. Indian dishes are mostly stewed types so it's alright for buffet; just leave the dishes after cooking and still can be eaten several hours later!. If you like your food hot and freshly cooked, Indian is not it!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

I guess I am jaded, here in Toronto Canada we have both Chinese and Indian Buffets, I have been to a number and know how hard it is to choose, I like to go to the Indian ones as I am now eating mostly veggie dishes, and the chinese while having a few have more fried and meat based dishes, but have to go for my hot and sour soup plus the ones here serve sushi and I get the no fish type, just have to watch I do not over do it!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

If East Indian is the same as regular Indian, then I vote for East Indian!. chinese buffets are all the same, and boring!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
