Is tomatillo salsa supposed to be quite tart?!


Question: Is tomatillo salsa supposed to be quite tart!?
I made some salsa verde with canned crushed tomatillos, white onion, cilantro, serrano and fresh garlic!.!.!.pureed it and cooked to thicken!. But holy smokes! it is really sour! Could it be the canned, crushed tomatillo!. Any suggestions to mellow it out!? Help!.!.!.got a party tomorrow!Www@FoodAQ@Com

and rew tomatillo salasa is even more so!
mexicans love sour things!they add lime to soup,beer-micheladas is the name for this,but tons of lime juice-freshly squeezed- not a wedge,in a tall glass with salt,a tad worshester sauce,drop of tabasco,ice cubes and beer mhmmmmm!-
to meat!.!.!.
maybe add some beef bouillon and let it cook a tad more!

It could be the brand that u r using !. Always good 2 use the fresh ones!. In this specific case adding sugar might help!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
