Germs are fast becoming resistant and I would hate to catch some gem of a bug from a dog!. Regardless of what your friend says, I would do some research into the type of bugs dogs can transmit to humans and how hot the water temp needs to be in order to actually sterilize them!.

Even if it were safe, it would gross out 99!.9% of the people every time!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

It may be "fine" and all as your first two answerers( "Terry J" & "John Holmes") say, but it sure violates any sense of etiquette and you'll never find that happening in my house, or the person who does that will be having their next meal in a big dog bowl, outside with the dogs!. God Bless you!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

No it is gross she should do them separate from her other dishes because the term a dogs mouth is cleaner than a humans is not true It is not study has been done it is pretty nasty what they found
So you have every right to be grossed out Good Luck To YouWww@FoodAQ@Com

I wouldn't eat over there!.!.I guess this is why some people purportedly smell like dogs!.!.!.er!.!.!.a wet one!.!.!.whatever!.!.
Dishwashers being what they are, be sure to scrape any dried Beneful and Alpo off your beverage glasses and dinner plates!.!.dishwashers do that!.!.!.!.leave residue i mean!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

Well!.!.!. I think it's gross!.

And how is a dog cleaner than most people!? I know I don't lick my own behind or eat crap I randomly find on the ground during walks!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

Wash it out briefly with dish washing soap and then put it in the dish washer!. Should eliminate any concerns about being "gross"Www@FoodAQ@Com
