How do you make stir fry?!

Question: How do you make stir fry!?
Okay, I know how to make it and its always delicious but the veggies are never crisp tender like they do them at chinese restaurants!. I usually use white onion, green onion, red bell pepper, bamboo shoots, bean sprouts, cabbage, and carrots!. In what order do I add things into the stirfry and for how long so that the carrots are cooked by crisp, the cabbage is crispy and the onions are crisp but cooked enough to take out the raw flavor!?

Thanks so much!Www@FoodAQ@Com

The secret is to add the ingredients to VERY hot oil and toss veggies frequently on high heat!. Use a large wok or electric skillet!. For the carrots, I use the shredded ones that come in a bag!. Cook in batches so they don't get mushy from the moisture!. Remove veggies from heat, add more oil and cook the meat!. Place veggies back in and toss!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

aways start with the ingredients that take the longest!. cook them half way before you add the next!. cut sizes smaller to make them cook faster!.larger pieces for things that cook quickly like onions!. don't cook sprouts at all add them After you take off the heat!. why don't you experiment the Next rainy afternoon!. try frying just a few carrots to see how long it takes!. remove them and cook a little cabbage and so on you will have a better idea this way when you get all the things cooked mix together in a bowl and toss with a stir fry sauce you made on the sideWww@FoodAQ@Com
