Serving suggestions:
Moussaka is traditionally served in very large pieces and it is a heavy dish!. Serve with a green salad, crusty bread, and a dry red wine!. If anyone has room for dessert, a fruit sorbet or cheese with fruit is a light way to end on a sweet note!.

Grains like bulghur wheat or couscous would be nice!. Or you could roast potatoes with garlic and olive oil and rosemary too, that would be nice!. The crusty bread and salad is a good idea also!.
For dessert, just fruit would be enough!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

How about a nice salad with mild peppers, feta cheese, black olives, tomatoes, and topped with a greek salad dressing!. for dessert, how about some nice baklava!?Www@FoodAQ@Com
With a green/herb salad!. Moussaka can be quite rich and heavy, so something citrusy for dessert (sorbet, mousse etc) would freshen the palate and end the meal on a lighter note!.

You only need some nice fresh white bread, something crusty like a bloomer and its got to be baklava for dessert but don't buy Marks and Spencers baklavas they are awful and very dry!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
Moussaka is a meal on it's own!. I would serve some hot bread with butter and feta cheese on the side!.
