I just checked the chinesetv link, the recipes are close but have been changed for American cooking!. In Chinese homes [really apartments] there are NO OVENS!. Any food that requires an oven is purchased from vendors that are on every street corner!. I have been to China dozens of times [my wife if from Beijing] and have never seen an oven in anyone's apartment!. There is an excellent book [sorry it's out of print] "The Key to Chinese Cooking" by Irene Kuo!. It is by far the best of the best!. My wife refers to it when she wants to cook something different!. I use it for BBQ Ribs, Pork and my favorite Bass with Black Bean Sauce!. Google it and if you get lucky you'll find a used copy!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
