Starch-carbs are also found in all cereal grains, as well as roots and tubers which include bread, rice, noodles, potatoes, sweet potatoes and yams.
Pasta contains iron, niacin, protein and other essential vitamins, it also does not contain any cholesterol and has low sodium content.
So eat in moderately with the right type of sauce will not be 'fat' threatening as good nutrition in just 210 calories per cup of cooked pasta.



Pasta can be very unhealthy if you eat large portions.

Make it with multigrain noodles, lean meat or meat flavored pasta sauce, add bits of spinach (not a lot) and mushrooms and no cheese if you can help it. Then have a side salad with it. spaghetti IS pasta. It can be... especially if you aren't active. They are a decent source of protein but also have a good amount of carbs. Regular white pasta is even worse. Stick to whole wheat.



IT HAS ALOT OF CARBS, IF YOU EAT TOO MUCH OF ANYTHING,IT CAN BE FATTENING . REMEMBER MODERATION.



If you asking it's a fatty food then no. But it has tons of carbs. If you are planning to reduce weight you need to limit carbs in your diet



Yes, pasta and other high carb foods can be fattenting. Carbs are turned in to sugars in your digestive system.



PASTA WILL BLOUT YOU BEYOND BELIEF...buy the spinach pasta....regular pasta is carbs and more carbs..it puts pounds on me quicker than i can burp!.
