Two gallons should be enough since you will be using fifty 1 lb packages ( four servings per pound, assuming you are feeding heavy eaters).

For light eaters, you might be able to get by with 1-1/2 gallons of sauce.

If you are including meatballs ( 2 per serving), you also might be able to get by with 1-1/2 gallon.

Remember, you have to serve fresh Italian bread to sop up the sauce after the spaghetti and meatballs have been eaten.

Bona mangiare.

200 cups should do it....if you don't think that would be enough, try about 230 cups.

1 - 2 cups per person should be good...but, you gotta think, is every single person going to eat that?

some may hate the sauce....so I'd try to have a variety, some with meat, some without, some with mushrooms, some without...maybe some with both!

either that or be a plane jane kinda meal and just do the sauce.

1/2 cup of sauce per person made with 1/4 lb of ground beef per person = 50 lbs of ground beef and 600 oz of canned crushed tomatoes
