Sicilian pizza is typically square, with more dough, sauce and cheese. A traditional authentic recipe often calls for pecorino cheese (made from sheep's milk) and bits of anchovies.
I think you can find 'Sicilian' pizza in USA, a Sicilian pizza is typically a square pie with dough over an inch thick which is similar to tomato pie. You should be able to find in Italian restaurants which also serving Italian-American food.



Sicilian style pizza is square and I think the crust is a bit different. Pan pizza is like chicago style deep dish.



One is made in Sicily , the other in a pan!!!!
