White rice expands about 3 times when it cooks. So 50 grams of white rice would expand to 150 grams of cooked rice as it absorbs the water. Water weighs more than dry rice. The measure should be 1 part dry rice to 1.5 parts of water.

Measure out some rice and cook it! Will only take a half hour in total to do this experiment. You can use the English method of lots of boiling water and a bit of rice and cook it like pasta and then strain it and weigh it.
