Easy to make Japanese dish?!

Question: Easy to make Japanese dish?
I'm participating in a "cultural smorgasbord" and need to bring a dish from a country I'm interested in. I picked Japan, so I need a dish that i can make even though I'm not a fantastic cook. I would prefer one without a lot of cooked vegetables, since I'm a picky eater, but it doesn't matter that much. Also, I would appreciate it if you would either list some of the major ingredients or point me to a site that does. Thanks!

Serve udon with grilled chiken or smoked pork tenderloin, topped with chopped green onions. For authencity, you'll want to make a dashi, a soup made of kelp, bonito fakes and water. The frst making, the ichiban, has the most flavour. Way easy and way good!
