What would you recomment from a Thai restaurant?!
Answers:
Depending on the restaurant I would suggest you order some Thai Tea, it's iced and it's a sweet tea with cream and sugar in it and it's very good.
Also I suggest Pad Thai if you have never had this, it's a noodle dish often served with either chicken or shrimp and it has a peanut sauce.
Also good for an appetizer is the Chicken skewers with the peanut sauce, it's called "Satay"
But, everything Thai is good... there are two soups I love though and they're my favorite things on any Thai menu.
One is called "Tom Yum Kai" soup, it's a chicken soup, which is clear broth with lemongrass and mushrooms, sometimes you can get it with shrimp instead of chicken sometimes with both. (Tom Yum Goong is the one with Shrimp)
It's heavenly.
Another good soup is the one that is like that but they add coconut milk it's superb too! "Tom Kah Kai" I think is the name of that one.
But those are my top recommendations for a flavor feast for your mouth. :)
I'm so jealous now I really want to have some good Thai food! ;)
Enjoy! My mouth is already watering just thinking about it!
I love Thai food.
I second the pad thai recommendation
I also like curry dishes (they typically have yellow, green red, massaman, Khing, Panang). The yellow is the mildest and is typically a coconut curry.
I also like the dishes where basil is a main ingredient. Thai's like to saute whole basil leaves into a dish. They will be labeled as such.
Yellow Thai curry is rather nice with chicken & potato - so so nice! Not too hot either, if you like hotter food try a jungle curry!
Buddha Rama! You can't go wrong.
Tom Yum Soup, Chicken Panang Curry and Pad thai noodles :) Enjoy!
Anything with massaman curry... YUM!
Thai food.
