Do I need to refrigerate Sriracha Chili Sauce?!

Question: Do I need to refrigerate Sriracha Chili Sauce?
I mean you don't have to put other hot sauces in the fridge. It says to refrigerate after opening but its made of vinegar, salt, and capsazin. How quick is this stuff going to spoil?

Answers:

It's not going to spoil.

Refrigerating is just optional. You can refrigerate your sriracha, or not.

Though, the flavor of your sriracha is enhanced when you refrigerate it. I personally like a spicy and cold sauce over my piping hot, sour lemon grilled chicken, but then again, maybe that's just me.

Yeah so you can refrigerate or...don't your choice.

"To refrigerate or not to refrigerate, that is the real question."

You don't, the vinegar and salt are each a natural preservative. BUT I still refrigerate mine, it does help retain the flavor. Also, try El Yucateco, it's awesome!

i have a bottle in my hand right now it does not say to refrigerate but if you not using it often it will turn dark so i would refrigerate it to keep it fresh
