how does pad thai get that orange color? is authentic pad thai orange? I heard it isn't?!

Question: How does pad thai get that orange color? is authentic pad thai orange? I heard it isn't?
Answers:

The orange color is from a mixture of egg yolk and grounded peanuts. Some places may use saffron, but not usually.

It's paprika and a generous amount of it to get the orange color and to add a bit of flavor. Every recipe for Pad Thai worth it's salt always calls for paprika.

Well It should be useful. http://popfaves.com/279471/pad-thai

paprika is kind of reddish and mixed with the other ingredients such as peanuts would make it orangish colour
