are these chestnuts safe to eat?!

Question: Are these chestnuts safe to eat?
from an objective view they look fine, light beige, but once i cut them in half some of them have greenish spots or gray spots, is this fine or are they spoiled with fungus or something else ?

Answers:

Chestnut should only look beige or yellowish inside, anything gray, green, black or stinks means it has turned bad and should be thrown away.

Some kinds of chestnuts have portions of such colours usually in the center core, so I think it's safe to eat.
