Soup, salad, potato wedges and dip, mexican food (nachos, tortillas, quesadillas, etc) chips and salsa, stuffed peppers, bread sticks and dip, cheese curds (Wisconsin), Chicken wings (BBQ) Texas cheese fries, rolls.
To make a list of appetizers would be odd since there are way too many. It depends on what kind of restaurant you go to. If you are looking for things that are appetizers that are "American" that is different. That's like potato boats, mozzarella sticks, spinach artichoke dip, garlic and cheddar biscuits, clam chowder, chili cheese fries, fried mushrooms, stuffed mushrooms, craw fish, popcorn shrimp, crab legs, and lots more.
