working in an italian restaurant - not italian?!
i applied for a job in an italian restaurant yersterday and got a call back saying they wanted to see me for an interview.
thing is..i dont speak a word of italian..and i looked at the menu..half the things i cant even pronounce..they do have the english version at the bottom...i dont know what to do if they offer me the job :(

I'm sure your not the only person who as applied and gotten a job at an italian place that doesn't speak it.
Go get a menu, read it and start learning it. Tell them you have started this and would appreciate some training on proper pronounceation if you get the job.
Perhaps if you learned to pronounce the foods on the menu, it would increase your chances to get the job.
They might give you on the job training.
