Is Thai tea better with Evaporated Milk or Sweetened Condensed Milk, or both?!

Question: Is Thai tea better with Evaporated Milk or Sweetened Condensed Milk, or both?
I bought some Thai tea from the Asian market and upon searching the internet, I see all kinds of variations for it. Which is better? Topping with Evaporated milk or using less sugar and then topping with Sweetened Condensed milk? I even saw one that said to use both? Personal experience would be appreciated.

I've had it in restaurants quite a bit but never knew what they were using for it. Thanks!

Answers:

i use both. equal parts of evaporated milk and condensed milk (i use 3:3 tbsp ratio) to 16 oz of tea. you can adjust it to become sweeter if as you like.

i use this recipe (proportions) in my restaurant... but you dont know which restaurant and we are probably on different parts of the globe so i dont mind sharing. :) cheers!

I use condensed milk to sweeten it together with a little sugar and evaporated / coconut / whole milk to pour over tea and ice before serving to add taste and creamy appearance. Just use condensed milk if you find it too sweet.
It can also serves without milk as Dark Thai iced tea which just sweetened with sugar or flavoured with lime and just sweetened with sugar for Lime Thai tea.

Thai tea is traditionally made with either evaporated milk or half and half.

Condensed milk doesn't give the right consistency or the authenticity.
