I just made teriyaki sauce...?!


Question: I just made teriyaki sauce...?
There's a brown film on the top. Do I dispose it or keep it? Just curious... Thanks

The film is probably sesame oil coming to the top. There is nothing unusal in teriyaki sauce that requires skimming. My recipe just has garlic, ginger, soy, mirin, red pepper, and sesame oil.
