*-Nope, they are not indian food !
A cruller is derived from the Dutch. That is the pastry, I assume you mean that. It's part of Scandinavian, French, German and other European cultures and you can find some in bakeries in the U.S. but it's not connected that I know to Indian food.

No, they're french, a bit like a crispy donut. Indian food is curry, samosas, naan breads etc.
