In Italy there are great variety of delicious sweets, it isn't easy to choose the favorite one. I like very much the mascarpone cream, did you ever eat it? Tiramisù, cannolli, ciambella, bomboloni... Mmmm.... In Italy I stayed at the Hotel Senior Cattolica ( Adriatic Riviera) for breakfast, lunch and dinner every day a new Italian sweet, while you are strolling along the shops you will be tempted to try the lovely cakes in the pastry shops.... you have to see and try to understand what I am saying!!!
I like zuppa inglese (English soup) Well known in all Italy for centuries. There are many discussion as to the name. Probably they consider that the English love sweets and some do add spirits.
