personally, i would never touch animal brains because it sounds disgusting, but then again, hmmm.....read this! http://www.naturalnews.com/021418_brain_…

Yes, but apart from not liking them, I would worry about Mad cow disease, (CJD) especially in England.

Here in Spain, where I live, they are on sale in the supermarkets and shops.(usually pigs and as sheep's heads)

The main use is in cannellonis as part of the recipe for the filling but there are also brain omelets (tortilla de sacramonte)

I honestly don't know the answer to that, but I have heard from A WHOLE LOT of people that pig brain tastes very good. I am definitely never going to try it because to me it just sounds nasty and I've dissected a pig's brain in Biology class before so I know how it looks like. It wouldn't sound or look like it tastes very good because the brain looks really soft and mush, but from what I heard, people love eating that stuff,

Generally, brains are eschewed by most people because there is a far higher risk of disease associated with eating nerve tissue......did you never hear of "Mad Cow" disease?

Prepared correctly, however, using brain tissue from tested animals, brain can be DELICIOUS.....here's a yummy recipe for Fried Cow brains; http://www.realcajunrecipes.com/recipes/…

My dad grew up in the Ozarks eating calf brains and pork brains. It's very old fashioned, but ethnic cuisines still use them in cookery. We in the U.S. are pretty spoilt and do not eat offal (organ meats, and such) like poorer peoples do.
Brains are supposed to be rather creamy tasting and Dad says his mom made them with eggs for breakfast.
