Would you ever eat Haggis?!

Question: Would you ever eat Haggis?

Even to try it?

If you have what was it like, would you recommend it, what was it similar too, how would you describe it?

I know the description of haggis makes it sound disgusting but it is actually quite nice. I would say it tastes like a dry mildly spicy mince.

It's just haggis- best comparison would be meatloaf!
Because that's all it really is, it's just a meatloaf made of mutton or lamb!

Like meatloaf you get your good ones and your bad ones. It's really an indescribable dish as the flavour is not consistent between one cook and the next.

Never, it is full of rubbish, i have eaten the vegetarian version and thats nice, i obviously dont eat meat but even if i did haggis the last thing i would look at, its gross.

Looks yummy! I eat liver, gizzard, heart, stomach, intestine, whole blood and other internal organs mixed or separately. I don't see any difference with haggis aside from the presentation.

If I watched it being prepared or helped, probably yeah.
I know the ingredients are a little off putting but I am a hands on kind of gal and not grossed out easily so yeah.

i would love to try it

i like a variety of offal (organ meat) so i would likely enjoy haggis

Haggis is delicious. To me it's like a mildly spicy meatball, and has a great texture.

Only if it's been humanely killed

It is great and is like spice mince give it a go

I'd being willing to try it if they got rid of the oat meal. I'm American, I like my meat unadulterated.
