Is it common to not be able to taste garlic?!

Question: Is it common to not be able to taste garlic?

I used to know what garlic tastes like and could taste it, but now I can't. Whenever we eat something that has the garlic flavor, some one comments, and I am left confused. Garlic cheese tastes like regular cream cheese. Garlic itself tastes like plain old garbanzo beans. Is this normal?

Is it only garlic or do you have a sinus problem?

Maybe you should see a doctor about this. But no it is not common.
