What as a restaurant or general eat out experience you had recently?!

McDonald's drive through, my wife and I had quite a long wait and speculated on the possible reasons. We ate on the drive home.

Got a e-mail from a local restaurant that they are donating 10% of our bill to the people who were in that shooting in Tucson if we go there this week. We have been there often and like their food so we went. Waiter was the worst, food was terrible and we left saying we would never return again. We didn't complain because we wanted to help those poor people. Now we have to find a new mexican to go to.

diner, with my mom, her boyfriend, my sister and my grandfather. not sure about signifiers. we discussed life, my job, my boyfriend's job, my mom's boyfriend's inability to be positive about anything.... etc...

I haven't been to a restaurant in almost 3 years. I'm a senior citizen with very little money to waste on restaurant food.

I ate alone. I had Chinese food eaten with chopsticks. I had hot tea and got a great fortune in my cookie. No signifying took place.
