do i have food poisoning?!


Question: Do i have food poisoning?
My mom just made fish and it smelt kindve odd to me but i ate it anyway because it tasted ok but probably because i ate it with my mash potato and my mom comes in and shes like my fish tastes and smells odd does yours? and we checked the box and it had already expired. i cant believe i ate it even it smelled funny. Do i have food poisoning or will anything happen to me?

You'll know when you have food poisoning!
Usual symptoms are feeling sick, stomach ache, vomiting, diarrhea etc.

If any of the above do not appear within 24 hours, then you are OK.

You will find out in 4 to 6 hours if you have food poisoning.

However, if your mom thoroughly cooked the fish you should be fine.
The only thing expiration dates really means is quality - fishy flavors and dryness.
Expiration dates are NOT food safety/health dates.

In other words, you might get sick because you talked yourself into getting sick.

You will know within three hours.
