Question: What is this meal i ate in Iraq? it had white rice, peanuts, raisins, and noodles in it. How do i make this?
the raisins were plump, and the noodles were thin (like angel hair pasta) sweet noodles. it was was all mixed together. the peanuts were a little bit crunchy

Sounds a lot like rice pilaf.

Sounds sort of like Kabuli Pulao, which is an Afghani dish, but it wouldn't surprise me if variations existed throughout the region.

It's essentially a paella (I think it's where the paella originated), and served in a neat mound.



I don't know. Sounds pretty damn good though. Especially with some soy sauce!
