Question: Asian Dish at near a decade ago, WHAT was it.?
It was at my school, it was a dish that was pronounced " Ew Yak Sung " or something like that. It was soupy, but had meat's and a variety of other things, and it was delicious and i would love to make it on my own.

" Eu Yak Song " " Ew Yak Sung " , it was said like that, not specifically sure that it is a Chinese dish.

Can't figure out Eu / Ew / Ou so its difficult to guess the right one but Yak can means meat / human and Sung can means minced meat / floss (dried meat product which texture similar to coarse cotton) / ginseng.

Yuk Song is Chinese appetiser of minced pork and vegetables wrapped in lettuce leaves.

So the other which came to my mind is Samgyetang (ginseng chicken soup) but its Korean cuisine although also have Chinese version.

Don't think I've help but can you recall some other details like what kind of meat, what other ingredients or which province was it from and etc?

as the picture provided by Cats and Dogs, I assume you're talking about a dish which uses a integral chicken. But it's rare to use whole chicken as ingredients in chinese dish besides some medicinal use.
they leave the soup to simmer with chicken and some herbs, so that the nutrients of chicken and herbs spread into the soup and make the soup delicious ,soupy and with medicinal use.

a chinese :D

sounds like pumpkin soup.
