The previous answer is a bit of an exaggeration. Pho is cheap, but not THAT cheap! The one he is probably referring to is also likely just the noodles and soup, no meat bowl of Pho. If you have any chicken or beef or balls, the price is closer to 5 or 6 bucks for a small bowl. That is still a great deal and plenty of food (rice noodles are cheap and fill you up).

Peronal experience. We eat Pho every couple of weeks.



The regular portion ($3.75) holds enough that in other restaurants it could serve four as a first course; the large bowl ($4.45) tests the appetite of the most confirmed pho fanatic.
