Can i use vegetable oil instead of butter for making Lebanese baklawa, and would it be crispy as when?!

Wouldn't work - it would be crispy bt would be oily when you eat it, as the vegetable oil will still be runny at room temperature. Also you really need the butter flavour as that's one of the key tastes in Baklave. Yum!
No, that would not work well..
