How it s made and what s the origin of the pizza pie?!

Italians make a double crust pizza, called gudaroni (gooderoonie) that can have anything in it. My nana put leftover stew or spinach, garlic and cheese, or tomato sauce, cheese and sausage in them. American Italians refer to them as pizza pie.
i'm pretty sure the pie just came in at one point. but a long time ago in italy the queen from france came to visit and the best baker in the country who was notorious in making very good foods. So the baker got some dough, put tomato on, and put cheese on and baked it. he added basil. if you were focusing, this is the italian flag. the queen loved it greatly and so the pizza was made famous.
if you get a "pizza" with no basil then technically it is no pizza.
