Question: Do you use dried or fresh rosemary in a rosemary tincture?
Do you use fresh or dried rosemary in a rosemary tincture and do you use fresh or dried herbs in tinctures in general?

Dried will make it more concentrated, warm the liquid or put it in a glass sealing jar, then place in a bowl or pot of warm water, keep it warm for several hours to release the essential oils, into the alcohol or oil base, I do this for oregano oil which I use on my feet.



I mainly buy the dried. The only herbs I buy fresh are marjoram, oregano, thyme, basil and parsley because I know that I will use them. I don't make much that calls for rosemary.
