What else can I make with instant corn masa besides tortillas?!

Question: What else can I make with instant corn masa besides tortillas?
All I can find online is how to make tortillas, tamales & so on. Can it be used for breads or muffins?
Thanks!

Answers:

You can use it to make cornbread, in batters for fish and chicken, I buy it and use it for many things, even make my own KFC style breading, I use it on chicken, pork tenderloin, chicken fried steak, veal cutlets.

You can make corn muffins, I used add some canned kernel corn in mine, it can be used to thicken sweet pudding, like custards, Indian pudding is popular in the Northeast US, it i like a baked custard with cornmeal in it you could use masa flour, it would not be as grainy when cooked.

i use it to make dumplings for green chili stew or tortilla soup .... just mix the masa with salt and shortining form little dough ball doughnut shapes (no hole in the middle just an indention on both sides) and drop them into simmering watter gently ... you can also flavor them with cilantro or peppers what ever you want really...

how about to try nepalese food huh.DAl vat and tarkari
