Which is better American or British cuisine?!

Question: Which is better American or British cuisine?
Which do you think is better? Not just meals but pre-packaged products too...
Hershey's VS Cadbury's don't get me started...

Personally I think British food is by far the winner, neither are the best in the world but of the two Britain wins for me!

Answers:

Personally, I think the US is by far the winner.

Sure Cadbury is better than Hershey but a better comparison would be Cadbury against Ghirardelli. And, I would opt for Ghirardelli every time.

Maple syrup is one heck of a lot better than Golden Syrup (The British equivelant)

Both the US and UK have restaurants from every ethnicity on the planet, and those cannot really fairly be compared. I've had great Indian, Italian, French...etc in both the UK and America.

Native food is a different story. Give me some Southern BBQ, Cajun, Creole, Southwest American food any day over British pub fare and other dishes that are native to the UK

American food is better. There's bbq, fried chicken, smoked meats, fresh veggies.

There's only so much bland boiled British food that one can stand.

In regards to chocolate, notice it was Hershey (USA) that purchased Cadbury and not the other way around. Obviously, Hershey is superior to Cadbury or the purchase would have been the other way around.

I love Cadbury's but, overall I prefer American because I'm American and I don't really know many other British foods although those I do know, I really enjoy.

American candy and chips (crisps) are alot better, although britains takeaways are better in my opinion :)

American!

british

Depends on what part of America
