Try this:

1 cup flour. 1 egg. 1/2 eggshell of milk(a little more if you think it is too dry and flaky)

Mix all together. Flour a counter really well and roll the dough out as thin as you can.

Use a pizza cutter and cut thin (a little bigger than spaghetti) noodles. Drop them into full boiling chicken broth. You can add chicken bouillion, or poultry seasoning to get more of a chicken flavor.

Usually takes about 20 minutes, but just try them every now and then to see when they are the way you would want to eat them.

I usually shut them off for about an hour after they are ready. Let them cool a little, and then reheat them. That makes them a little thicker.

These are the best egg noodles I have ever had, and the way my grandma made them.

They are really easy and inexpensive because you don't have to dry them like most homemeade noodles. Plus there isn't very many ingredients.

Make them every year for thanksgiving.

There are egg noodles or dumplings. You can use a biscuit dough to make the dumpling type.

.

Are you talking about dumplings? Thicker fat noodles? They sell them in the freezer section.
