What is Taco Bell meat made out of?!

Question: What is Taco Bell meat made out of?
Answers:

35% meat, 65% fillers (allegedly) oats, fillers, water, flavorings, and some other additives they admit to using.

"The firm tested the "meat mixture" and found that it contained ingredients like water, wheat oats, soy lecithin, maltodrextrin, modified corn starch and an anti-dusting agent." (I still don't understand why there is dust on the beef...?)

According to Taco Bell it is 88% beef, 12% fillers:

"Taco Bell went even further. In this age of full disclosure, Taco Bell revealed its secret ingredients: water, salt, chili peppers, onion powder, tomato powder, sugar, garlic, COCOA POWDER (didn't see that one coming), oats, caramelized sugar, yeast and citric acid. "

here's the beef filling recipe copied and pasted right from their own website.

88% USDA-inspected quality beef
3-5% water for moisture
3-5% spices (including salt, chili pepper, onion powder, tomato powder, sugar, garlic powder, cocoa powder and a proprietary blend of Mexican spices and natural flavors).
3-5% oats, starch, sugar, yeast, citric acid, and other ingredients that contribute to the quality of our product.

Well, I have recently heard that Taco Bell meat is made out of only 35% meat. I don't know about the other 65%. That's why my family isn't going there anymore until they get that problem fixed. Anyway, hope I helped!

The news.

Taco Bell meat is made our of less than 45% beef. The rest is flour and bread additives.
We've found an exact recipe for the meat taste without all the superficial additives.
