Healthy foods???????!

Question: Healthy foods???????
Ok so me and my family are all going on a diet. Were walking together and seeing small results but we need to start eating better also. So what kinds of fruits and veggies should we be eating? Also what are some healthy meals for dinner?

All fruits and veggies. there isn't really a limit. The best thing is to make sure your plate is colorful. Sounds silly maybe, but it is the easiest way to ensure you are getting all the nutrients you need from your food. Different colored veggies and fruits do different things.

Example: dark leafy greens tend to have iron, while carrots have a lot of beta-carrotine.

easy healthy dinner meals could be things like roast chicken, pork, or turkey breasts with a veggie like squash, broccoli, roasted carrots, steamed asparagus, and a side like rice pilaf, mashed potato, baked potato (high in potassium actually) or some pasta. Or if you want to omit the starch all together just have 2 or 3 vegetables. I have found that I need a roll or something. Idk, I like my carbs.

you can also make seafood. Like shrimp, scallops or fish. Seafood is a good source of B-12 and other fatty acids you dont get with other meats. I like to serve shrimp with spinach and rice pilaf. Or in the summer I like to make a mango salsa and grill the shrimp.

You should be eating a variety of colorful veggies. Fruits are fine as well bit not so much. Remember that diets don't work. Only a change in lifestyle works. Check out the Mediterranean diet. It's all about healthy eats!

For diet, I would recommend eating fruits and vegetables as well as trying to integrate these these items into meals. Switch from white grain to whole grain and stop drinking soda... and whatever just don't be retarded.

celery, you burn more calories digesting it then there is in it. in other words its exercise eating celery.

hummus
