It depends on the pasta. For spaghetti, I like aglio, olio e peperoncino (garlic, oil and hot peppers) or cacio e pepe (pecorino cheese and pepper) when I go to Rome. On Fridays, it's common to find spaghetti col tonno (tuna); spaghetti bolognese isn't something that you'll find here in Bologna commonly. Bolognese goes with penne or tagliatelle. I particularly like tagliatelle with a rabbit sauce though. With tortelli di zucca (pumpkin stuffed tortelli), I like burro e salvia (butter and sage) although you can also get that with Bolognese.
I more so lean toward bolognese but any sauce suits me. I even have brown sauce on pasta, or just with a dash of olive oil, fresh garlic and parsley and Maggi seasoning, Now I really like the latter one.
Pesto first, then carbonara, then alfredo or a white wine garlic sauce. Clam sauce is good too, any sauce that's not red.
Alfredo or Bolognese. Oh, puttanesca is good too..
Omg I can't choose. :(
Our homemade meat sauce is similar to a Bologanese. We also do a fine clam or seafood (red) sauce.
Pesto or Carbonara
I like mushroom and tomato sauce.
Diablo ala vongole arribiata!!!
red sauce with meat and cheese.
cabonara! or alfredo.
today for my lunch though im going arrabiata
Fresh Pesto is the best. Next would be a rich rich Marinara.
