Question: What are chinese croutons?
you know at chinese restaurants before they serve food there are usually bowls of these fried thingies, kind of like croutons? they are usually like strips, but i am assuming fried so they curl. they don't look or taste like bread... its hard to describe
what are they called? chinese croutons?

It's fried wonton wrappers. Very easy to make yourself. Just get a package usually in the refrigerated or frozen section eggroll wrappers can also be used. Cut into strips and deep fry.



Those are just deep fried noodles or sometimes wonton wrappers. The name for those = Crispy noodles.
