I want to order mochi online?!

Question: I want to order mochi online?

I have been to a lot of different markets that sell mochi. I got the mochi that the thai people make but I dont like it because the dough is the not hard enough and it taste a lot different than regular mochi i eat. Iv been to a oriental market to get the mochi and theres I do like. I just dont know what kind it is?Iv had the ice cream mochi and just the regular dough kind with red beans inside. I nned to know which type im looking for??? can anyone help?! thanks.

The mochi you are looking for is most likely called Daifuku.

Daifuku can have various fillings, azuki beans ( red ), green tea, water chest nut ( my favourite ), or even strawberries and cream... yum.

There are awesome mochi-makers that can be bought online, making it a much easier do-it-yourself projects that I am sure your friends would love to share :)
