They are much like a saltine cracker except they use coconut and palm oil in them making them more lighter like a UK type cream cracker, I used them when I worked in Asia, and have had them here in Canada, they are more common to the Filipino and Vietnamese populations, but are also popular in the Caribbean I also worked in Jamaica and they are quite popular there too.



I think sky flakes are crackers (water, flour and salt) brushed with butter or fat and rolled very thin before baking. Biscuits re made of fat. To make it rise baking soda and baking powder or use buttermilk. The dough is rolled (rolling pin) into "thin" dough. Then stack up these "thin" dough in layers.
