Orange/sesame chicken, crab rangoo. Nothing like mings because they just have American food mostly
Ai yo yo, Chinese food very good in everywhere in der vurl ... Singapore, London, Amsterdam, Melbourne (even Sydney, Perth), Malaysia (Kuala Lumpur, Ipoh, even Sarawak), Taiwan, Hongkong, China (of course - but you wanna noe 'em, ya gotta go all over .. food different styles in different regions - not like Singapore you get variety Chinese food here tho' not all of the region, of course.)
The 'Ang Mohs' in Melbourne/Sydney dey like Chop Sui, soups can be great. In London they like the Chicken Rice, in Hongkong the roast meats (roast duck, roast loin pork, Char Siew, roast sausage - you can order all this in on plate/serving, even got roast goose, roast quail), Amsterdam also have these there ppl like fried rice, Ipoh get the GarChoyKai (bean sprout with chicken) & HorFun (these alone worth the trip, there) Kuala Lumpur BaKuTeh (though I, personally, prefer Singapore style) or you go sub-street level of their newest shopping centre in Bukit Bintang (many to choose), Taiwan go for MahLuck & northern Chinese food (if you can find the restaurant).
Singapore got all of these. Come, lah. You eat well, here. Singapore VERY TOURISM FRIENDLY. You speak English - you won't be lost. Go to Tourism Promotion Board (information counter) they give you very good information in a very friendly welcoming way. Grab all the brochures - they have brochures dedicated to food. Go to Chinese Restaurants - food mostly good. Go to upper class Chinese Restaurants - you'll not know you are not yet in Heaven.
Since you are a forienger - you only have to ask. In the streets. In any place. In restaurants - you can as for house specialty or ask for recommendation.
Chinese have plenty of (too much in) food culture. ENJOY !

I've always hated how foreign Chinese food is all really stereotypical and all the same which doesn't represent China at all. Most food it all souther china Guangzhou reigion. I've always wanted a restaurant that would focus on one area of China and make that food a specialty
