Avoid anything that is deep fry
Ok, here's the thing, your "flab" may just be a TINY bit of fat, with loose skin. Especially if you've lost weight lately.
You're not stupid. You know that ice cream should only be eaten a couple times a week at most, popcorn is good as long as you don't drown it in salt and butter.
The ab issue sounds like loose skin. Toning is pretty much the only answer.
Some women just CANNOT lose that tiny bit of flab. We're meant to have a little higher body fat content.
Keep up with the exercise, make sure you're doing strength training as well, as cardio will do nothing for your stomach by itself.
Try a dancing class!
Latin or Hip-Hop dancing is the EASIEST, most fun way to get a sexy, strong, healthy core.
Also, and this is IMPORTANT-
STRESS increases your body's desire to hold onto tummy fat.
There's a chemical called Cortisol that is released, telling your body something is wrong (back in the day, it likely would have been lack of food) and it sends you into fat storing mode.
I'm serious, address the stress. Exercise is good, but only if you enjoy it. Try some yoga or other relaxing exercises!
Fresh fruit would be very helpful to you I think. I won't suggest any in particular because I don't know what is available where you are but I know that here in the U.K. bananas are popular because they release a lot of energy and contain a lot of potassium. Best not to overdose on any one fruit. Variety is the spice of life and you'll soon become bored with the same fruit each day.
