Answers:

Dinner - Hotpot (steamboat) of half chicken soup and the other half hot & spicy (Sichuan) soup, mostly seafoods and vegetables we will dip in.

Special dishes must have are steamed fish (pomfet or sea bass usually), yam-balls (Suan Pan Zi), raw fish (Yusheng), yam cake (yu toh gao) and rice cake (nian gao) are for prosperity and auspicious meanings.

This year we added an electric grill so we can also have grilled chicken, beef, sausage, satay, otah and etc.

Well, I don't get Chinese that often for C.N.Y. Even for Chinese in general, I would get kung pao chicken. BUT, if there were a fancy Chinese restaurant in my area, I'd like to try Peking duck.

egg rolls and kung Poa chicken. Maybe have some chinese noodles.
