My relatives send me a package from UK and it has mayonnaise but it was a bit sour unlike our mayo used here on our country. Is it natural?

It's normal. European (and the rest of the world's) mayonnaise tastes different from American mayo.

It has more of a lemon/lime flavor to it.

I personally prefer the "international" mayo so I buy Mexican-style Mayonesa in the US as it seems to be the only one here that's close in taste.

Are you in USA? I am from England and noticed when I was in Vegas and NYC last year that your mayo is very sweet in comparrison to ours!

As long at the date is fine and it hadn't been opened before it was sent it should be fine, just tastes different.

Hellman's is my favorite. If the date is still good and it has not been left out in the heat, it should be fine. There is another similar product, labeled 'salad dressing' that is much sweeter, Kraft for one.

There's more vinegar in European mayo. I like it better.

I don't know what country you are in. I have never liked the taste of Hellman's.
