Is it bad to cook Eggs on Chinese New Years?!

I'm a chinese now living in shenyang, north china...i.ve never heard about that...eating egg in luner new year is nit that bad.... U can eat almost everything. Cats dogs....haha kiding.... Eggs...it,s alright no problems at all..is ur dad chinese???

It be bad voodoo mon. This one time on a chinese new year, me and my friends were sitting around having taco time and Ukuk came out with some scrambled eggs, the moment the poor bruddah ate one bite, a little chinese menehune came out and possessed him!! Ukuk didn't know what was going on being possessed by the spirit and all so in his trance, he danced and yelled but danced too close to the balcony. Ukuk fell. After he hit the pavement, we say that little chinese menehune came out, looked us right in the eyes and said, "This is so non canon it hurts." We never saw the little bastard again.

Yeah cake usually does have eggs in it.

Not sure if its bad to cook eggs on Chinese New Years though. I hope not cause I made a bucket of them since I boil it all at once so I don't have to for the next few days.
