Yes, I like scallops.
Either order grilled scallops (with Teriyaki sauce / Soy sauce / Cheese) from Japanese restaurant or cook it at home with stir-fried / baked / steamed.
I like dried scallops which has stronger taste and aroma than fresh, they are very good for rice congee and soups.

They are ok. And my mom cooks them at home for dinner but I never order them at a restaurant.

Answer mine?

I LOVE scallops but I can never cook them quite right so I only really order them at restaurants. Plus, if I cannot cook them that well (or to perfection) I don't want to spend $19.99 per pound and screw them up, ya know what I mean!

Scallops taste like crab meat to me except more expensive. I do not cook them at home. I have ordered it at a restaurant once as part of a dish.

Also, scallops are scavengers but they do eat plankton.

I love scallops but be careful that is what you are getting when you go out. Some places take the cheeks of a Skate which is like a Sting Ray and make it look like scallops. It tastes the same.

I love scallops. I make my own cioppino at home which has crab, mussels, fish and scallops. It's tomato based and tastes fabulous with sourdough bread

Not anymore. Scallops, like clams, oysters, shrimp, crabs, lobsters, etc, are bottom feeders. The reason their meat is so sweet is because they feast on crap and ocean waste all day.

Usually make them at home, the large ones, and saute or grill them. They are also good (the little scallops) in pasta dishes.

I like them fried from a restraunt.
