Yes, you could cook spaghetti with butter, and you should taste it to see is it salty enough yet, and if not, then you can choose to add salt or not. If you think it is too bland, you could look around your fridge and see if you can add a little something else along with it.
OK yes you can but that's rather bland. If you have milk, flour and butter you can make a cream sauce (melt the butter add the flour until it's no longer liquidy and then slowly add the milk whisking the whole time, add salt and pepper or whatever else you want to make it taste how you want...I add parmesan and nutmeg). Or you can saute some veggies, add white wine until it has evaporated a little then whisk in butter and toss in the noodles and you have a primavera! Or just cooked your noodles toss in veggies and butter, salt and pepper. Lots you can do, just get my attention if you need any other ideas :)
have you got spaghetti or noodles? Determine this. Spaghetti you will need to boil in LOTS of salted water for eight to ten minutes. stir lots to keep separated Egg Noodles can rest in boiled water until soft - about four minutes. If you have nothing else in your store cupboard than you must at least have some tomato ketchup and hopefully some cheese you can grate into the aforementioned product. The more blk pepperand butter the better, and any other bits you got lying about in that fridge. Fried onion, Sweet Chili sauce. ham. Maybe you have some frozen prawns or peas. contrasting textures work really well with any pasta or noodle. I hope you have some of these things. you are making me hungry. goood luck.
Daddy is right. I used to do that all the time growing up when we were broke. Instead of the salt, add pepper, or if you are really lucky, sprinkle on some of that cheese in the green can. (Don't forget to drain the noodles!)
You probably won't need the salt, as butter has salt in it. I do this all the time, just cook pasta and butter.. tasty and easy! Also good with some cheese.
Not exactly healthy, but it tastes great!
A little butter or olive oil, some herbs, maybe some sauteed veggies like broccoli or zucchini and onions. A little parmigiana if you have it, salt and pepper. Yum!
if you dont want to use butter you can use olive oil and mix in some grated parmisan cheese.
That's actually a pretty classic dish, noodles and butter.
