Question: What's that mexican beef called?
It is like pot roast, but you taste a lot of flavor from chilis or slasa or something. sometimes you can see some red sauce on it. It taste like the shredded beef they call barbacoa at chipotle.

It is barbacoa. There is another shredded beef called mahaca.
Babacoa is suppose to be a sort of bbq (hence the chipotle), and machaca is shredded with chilis, onoin, garlic and some herbs.

In Mexico we speak Spanish and beef is called carne de res. There is nothing in the typical Mexican cuisine even vaguely resembling a pot roast which would be called "rostizado de res." Mexican barbacoa is mutton, not beef, and is definitely not shredded.

I live, cook and eat in Mexico
