well you need to decide which area of Africa you are wanting to know about.. North Africa is a desert region where most Arab nomads originated from.. They probably ate Islamic meals, sheep, goats, camel meats, fish, and rice or flat breads with sausy soups and drank a sort of watery fermented goats/sheep milk and yogurts... not much produce in the dry regions..

deep in the rainforest/jungle areas of AFrica was much different.. They probably ate tons of fruits, nuts, and berries, and lived off of water buffalo, monkey meat, maybe flat breads also.. but they were probably more of a hunter/gatherer type of tribesmen.. maybe even canibals.. who knows...

down south, there were European colonies living, so they ate and cooked probably how they did back in England...

they possibly all cooked with wood burning stoves or just wood piles outside ...
